With pieces spanning all periods of a cappella literature, the A Cappella Choir is a great opportunity to fine-tune sight-reading skills and vocal disciplines. The A Cappella Choir performs in concerts and services in local churches every semester.

Chamber Singers
Chamber Singers is a 16- to 24-voice choral ensemble performing vocal chamber works from all style periods. Emphasis is placed on the development of choral tone, dynamics, blend and diction. Chamber Singers performs in a variety of venues ranging from church services and concerts to Carnegie Hall.

Opera Theatre
From tragedy to comedy and from Puccini to Gilbert & Sullivan, the Opera Theatre provides a quality experience for students to test the limits of their artistry. With faculty that has experience on opera stages around the world, the productions are certain to draw in a packed house for every show. Past performances include: Mozart's "Magic Flute," Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors," Gilbert & Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance," Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi" and more.

RamBellious
RamBellious is the University of Mobile Handbell Choir. This auditioned group of 10 ringers performs concerts in a variety of settings.

RamCorps is an auditioned, elite 19-member instrumental ensemble employing trumpets, mellophones, trombones, baritone horn, contras, and a drum-line. RamCorps combines high-impact brass and percussion performance of a variety of styles with choreographed movement.

The SOUNDS of Mobile is a highly energetic, 10-voice show choir performing a wide genre of music including, pop, Broadway, jazz, ’50s, disco and contemporary Christian. Symphonic Winds
The University Symphonic Winds is a large concert band which performs classical, traditional and contemporary music in sacred and secular settings. The band also broadens the performing experience with the occasional addition of string and rhythm sections allowing the student to experience a studio orchestra setting for major productions.

The Symphony Orchestra is a wind, strings, brass and percussion ensemble open to all students by audition. It is a combination of the Chamber Orchestra and members of RamCorps, plus professional guest musicians from the Mobile Symphony. The ensemble performs a variety of works from all style periods.

The Worship Choir and the A Cappella Choir will join together periodically as the University Singers for large choral presentations with orchestra. VOICES of Mobile is a highly versatile, auditioned vocal ensemble consisting of 16 singers. While VOICES focuses on a capella music, it also presents music of traditional and contemporary genres. VOICES maintains a highly visible and consistent performing schedule. VOICES has performed in the White House and toured extensively throughout the Southeastern United States and Abroad.
