UMobile's Center for Performing Arts Department of Music is dedicated to train, develop, and educate the next generation of musicians. Our goal is to direct our students in developing their artistry as they pursue excellence and impact others with their art. We strive for excellence and diversity in our music department and endeavor to expand the present and future musical opportunities for our students. Our faculty are professional musicians with experiences ranging from operas, theatres, touring groups, church stages, orchestras, and classrooms around the world.

At the Center for Performing Arts, we believe that a music student should have a college experience replete with performance opportunities. There are currently 21 ensembles which perform in schools, churches, public venues, civic and political meetings, and conferences around the country and abroad.

Each year the Center for Performing Arts provides a limited number of music scholarships to students demonstrating considerable achievement and tremendous potential for further development in performance. These scholarships are given on the basis of Scholarship Auditions.
