18th Annual Summer Music Camp
June 13-17, 2011
University of Mobile Campus
Choose from the Junior Camp for grades 4-7 or the Senior Camp for grades 8-12.
Spend a magical week at camp learning about music, sharpening your technique and performance skills, and sharing music with friends. Taught by the enthusiastic, well-trained music camp faculty consisting of UMobile music faculty and outstanding regional music educators. Summer Music Camp offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to encourage young musicians in the study of music with instruction in all instruments, including voice. Scholarships available by audition. Deadline for registration is June 7, 2011. Campers should bring a sack lunch with drink. See the Summer Music Camp Registration Form for complete details.

Guest Recitals & Informances:
- Scheduled daily at 11:50 a.m. & open to the public
- Presented by faculty and guest artists
- Held in Moorer Auditorium, University of Mobile Campus
Orientation:
- Tuesday, June 7, 2011, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Martin Hall, University of Mobile Campus
- Registration takes approximately 30 minutes
- Attendance at registration is recommended due to the scheduling of private lessons. You may, however, register via mail, to be received by 1:00 p.m., June 7, 2011.

- Junior Camp - 8:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Entrance Requirements:
- Minimum one year of disciplined study in music
- Recommendation by music teacher
Classes:
- Daily classes in music fundamentals
- Daily chorus, string ensemble, chamber music, wind ensemble & piano ensemble
- Master classes in all instruments
- One private lesson on instrument of choice
- Additional private lessons available upon request ($18 per half hour)
- Midi classes ($40 fee, limited enrollment)

Scholarships:
- Full tuition & partial tuition scholarships are available by audition only. See registration form for details.
- Audition application available upon receipt of registration form.
- Auditions held May 12, 2011, Martin Hall, UMobile Campus.
- Registration deadline for scholarship auditions is May 5, 2011.
Closing Ceremony:
