Computer Information Systems

Become successful in today’s high-tech society with a major in Computer Information Systems at the University of Mobile. This major will help you gain valuable knowledge and experience for programming, information and database management, software applications, hardware, operating systems, networking, and systems analysis techniques.

Activities of the student chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) organization present an important opportunity for students to network with industry professionals and participate in career exploration activities. It is our goal to provide CIS majors with professional knowledge and skills consistent with and inspired by Christian values. A two semester required internship solidifies classroom experiences with real world application and ensures seamless transition into a CIS career. Our program provides excellent instruction by qualified faculty, small class sizes, personal attention, career-oriented speakers and events, and exciting student life.
