Intercultural Studies

Preparing to serve the Lord abroad or in a different cultural setting in this country? Consider the Intercultural Studies major offered by the School of Christian Studies. This major draws from several academic areas to provide the best training for international and cross-cultural service.

At the University of Mobile, you'll find a bold commitment to the trustworthiness of the Bible and to the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000. This underlies a rigorous academic program that offers you seminary-level courses such as apologetics, Biblical archaeology, Hebrew or Greek.

You will learn from professors seasoned through years of ministry, whose concern for your intellectual development is balanced with a concern for your spiritual growth. Faculty will not only raise the tough questions, but hep you find adequate answers. University of Mobile professors will challenge you to "love the Lord with all your mind" as you grow into an evangelical scholar.

Wherever God is calling you to serve, the School of Christian Studies will prepare you to serve Him with your best talents. And, with so many ways to practice your faith, it is easy to make friends who will provide support and accountability for a lifetime.
