The University holds membership with and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The University, through its School of Business, is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs to offer the following business degrees: Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Accounting, Business Administration, and Computer Information Systems; and the Master’s of Business Administration Degree. The B.S.N. and A.D.N. nursing programs are approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing. The Alabama State Board of Education approves teacher education programs. The undergraduate athletic training education program is approved by the Joint Review Commission on Educational Programs in Athletic Training (JRC-AT) and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Graduates of the athletic training program are qualified to sit for the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
