The University of Mobile offers over 40 areas of study in the College of Arts & Sciences; Schools of Business, Christian Studies, Education, and Nursing; Center for Performing Arts, and Center for Adult Programs.

Accreditation

The University of Mobile is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; Telephone number 404 679-4501) to award Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees. The University holds membership with and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The University, through its School of Business, is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs to offer the following business degrees: Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Accounting, Business Administration, and Computer Information Systems; and the Master’s of Business Administration Degree. The Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006: telephone number 212 989-9393). The B.S.N. and A.D.N. nursing programs are approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing. The Alabama State Board of Education approves teacher education programs. The undergraduate athletic training education program is approved by the Joint Review Commission on Educational Programs in Athletic Training (JRC-AT) and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Graduates of the athletic training program are qualified to sit for the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
