Alumni Chapters

The primary purposes for which a chapter is formed are to advance and establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the University of Mobile and its alumni, and to provide an avenue for alumni to continue their connections with the university through the UMobile Alumni Association (UMAA).

Alumni chapters add significant value to any alumni association. At the University of Mobile, chapters allow alumni in different areas of the country the opportunity to network and make/continue lifelong friendships. Understandably, it is not feasible for everyone to be able to travel to reunions, homecoming celebrations, breakfasts, and other events. Chapters will allow alumni to gather in a different city and remain connected to the University of Mobile at the same time.

This year we are planning to launch chapters in Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile County and Baldwin County. If you are interested in becoming a part of these chapters, or beginning a chapter in your area not listed above, please contact Allison Nelson in the alumni office.
