Tony Nicholas

Class of 1996
Major: Business Administration
Owner, The Hungry Owl Eatery

Tony Nicholas with Adam Richman, host of the Travel Channel's Man vs. Food Nation.

Tony Nicholas learned real-world principles about small business management during his years at the University of Mobile. Now, he uses those same ideas to run his real-world business, the Hungry Owl Eatery, which made big news on the Travel Channel's Man vs. Food Nation.

After graduating with a business administration degree, continuing to culinary school and becoming Emeril Lagasse's saucier, Nicholas returned to Mobile, Alabama to open his own restaurant. Today, the Hungry Owl Eatery is a landmark of Gulf Coast cuisine.

Nicholas still remembers the personal attention he received from professors in the School of Business. According to Nicholas, their practical wisdom helps his business to succeed on a daily basis.
