Mobile falls to 10-5 on the season, while Embry-Riddle (11-10) stays alive at the tournament, which concludes Saturday, May 18.

Mobile (9-4) beat out Spring Hill for the host bid, and is making its 13 trip to nationals overall. The Rams won the title in 1993 and 1997.

COLUMBUS, Ga-- The University of Mobile softball team saw its run the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament come to an end Friday with a 3-1 loss to 17th-ranked Belhaven in the double-elimination tournament. Mobile (29-22) will await word on a possible at-large bid to the field of 40 for the 2013 NAIA National Championship Opening Round. The field will be announced May 7.
