JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated Belhaven College 1-0 in overtime to advance to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Finals Saturday at No. 1 seed William Carey University at 1 pm.

HATTIESBURG, Miss--- The University of Mobile women's basketball team took a break from the 2009-10 regular season to visit University of Southern Mississippi for an exhibition contest Thursday evening. Conference USA's Golden Eagles defeated Mobile 86-48 in the contest behind a standout performance from preseason All-Conference USA selection Pauline Love.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 4th place at the UM Fall Classic.
Northwood University (Fla.) won the tournament with a 66-over 642 (318, 324) while the Lady Rams finished 46 strokes back with a 668 (330, 338).

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2009 Men's Soccer All-Conference team.
The University of Mobile's Jason Williams (GK), Chris Dillon (DEF) and Onesimus Ikungo (FWD) made the honorary team of 16.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished 4th in the UM Fall Classic held at Heron Lakes C.C. Mobile carded a 56-over 920 (303, 312, 305) in the three-round tournament, while Lindenwood University fired a 19-over 883 (293, 300, 290) to win the event.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team cruised past visiting Trinity Baptist College 94-49 in the 2009-10 season opener at Pharr Gym Monday evening. Donte Walker and Ji Kimbrough led the Rams with 15 points apiece and Mobile out-shot the visitors 46% to 28% in the game. Mobile out-rebounded Trinity Baptist 56 to 36 and forced 32 turnovers. Treii Pace added 8 points and 8 rebounds for Mobile.
