MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team continued to struggle on offense, and fell 0-1 to University of Texas at Brownsville Friday on day one of UM's Rumble at the Jungle. The Rams (1-4) have now only scored two goals in five games on the season, despite nearly equaling the shot attempts of the victorious UTB Scorpions. UT-Brownsville finished with 14 shots to 12 for Mobile, while both teams put 6 shots on target.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished 7th out of 15 teams to open the season at the Alabama State University Fall Golf Classic Tuesday at Lagoon Park Golf Club. Tennessee State University won the tournament with a 4-over 580 (289, 291), while the Rams finished at +14 590 (293, 297). Mobile was only two strokes from climbing up to No. 5.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile junior varsity volleyball team won the first JV match in school history Saturday against Faulkner University 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-12).

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team did not have enough runners to qualify as a team at the Loyola Wolfpack Invitational, but had four runners compete in the 5K race.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team battled NAIA No. 2 Concordia University - Irvine to the end Saturday, but ended up falling 2-1 on the opening day of the University of Mobile Kick-Off Classic. Concordia only out-shot Mobile 14-11 in the game, but finished with a 7-2 edge in shots on target, two of which found the back of the net before Mobile could put a tally up on the scoreboard.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team handed NCAA II Nova Southeastern its first loss of the season, winning a 2-0 contest at Mobile Friday evening. The Lady Sharks were 2-0 on the season after wins over Embry-Riddle and Barry, but the Lady Rams got great defense and a pair of first-half goals for the win.

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team is receiving votes in the first NAIA Regular Season Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday. The Lady Rams, unranked in the preseason, received 18 votes in the poll after starting the year 2-1-1. Mobile blanked Warner Southern and Warner Pacific, and fell 2-1 to 7th-ranked Martin Methodist in overtime.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team lead for 84 minutes against NAIA No. 5 Martin Methodist College Monday afternoon, but fell 2-1 in overtime to the Redhawks. Freshman Christy Lachappelle gave Mobile the lead just 11:30 into play when she beat the defense on a deep pass from sister Ashley Lachappelle and punched the ball past the goal keeper into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead. Lachappelle is now tied with Missy Stovall for the team lead with 4 goals.
