DECATUR, Ala-- The 2nd-seeded Azusa Pacific University Lady Cougars ousted the 7th-seeded University of Mobile Lady Rams by a 4-0 score in the quarterfinals of the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championships Wednesday afternoon. Mobile (19-4-1) advanced to the National Championship for the second-straight season and the quarterfinals is the furthest they have advanced since a 3rd-place finish in 1998.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile Women's Basketball team saw Alabama State use two runs to pull away and hand the Rams a 78-59 loss Tuesday night in the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. Mobile (2-5) hosts Lee University Friday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 pm. Mobile scored the first four points of the contest, but Alabama State (2-2) got back-to-back buckets from Danielle Gazaway to advance over the Rams 5-4 with 18:08 remaining in the half.

DECATUR, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated Graceland (Iowa) 4-1 at the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship to advance to the Quarterfinals Wednesday at 1:30 pm against No. 2 seed Azusa Pacific. The Lady Rams (19-3-1) out shot Graceland 17-10, including a 12-2 edge in the second half when Mobile tallied three goals to put the game away.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- 13th-seed William Carey defeated 4th-seed University of Mobile 3-0 in the Round of 16 at the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Monday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Mobile ends the season with a 16-3-1 record, while William Carey (15-3-3) advances to the Round of 8 Wednesday.

HAMMOND, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 45-54 in an exhibition contest at Southeastern Louisiana University Saturday afternoon. Mobile (2-5) will visit Alabama State Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 6 pm in another exhibition contest. Alice Honnery paced Mobile with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks, but was the only player to score in double figures. Allison Michael was next with 7 points, while two players finished with six.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team dropped a 61-62 game to Rust College Friday at the Xavier Classic. Mobile (2-5) will visit Southeastern Louisiana Saturday at 3 pm in an exhibition contest. Alice Honnery led Mobile with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks, while Allison Michael finished with 12 points for the Lady Rams. Judi Vigneulle added 5 points and 7 rebounds.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 58-61 to Tuskegee University in the Xavier Classic Thursday evening. Mobile (2-4) will play Rust College Friday at 12 pm in the tournament. Briana Edwards led the Lady Rams with 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Alice Honnery finished with 10 points and 9 boards and Courtney Bayliss added 10 points.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The fifteen Opening Round games are over and the field of sixteen teams for the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Nov. 28 - Dec. 3 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex is set. Co-host University of Mobile received a bye to the Round of 16, and the Rams will be joined by Hastings, Saint Xavier, Science & Arts, Azusa Pacific, Rio Grande, Belhaven, William Carey, Baker, Huston-Tillotson, Great Falls, Grand View, Bethel, Southern Poly, Hannibal-LaGrange and Lindsey Wilson.

DECATUR, Ala-- The 7th-seeded University of Mobile women's soccer team will be one of sixteen teams competing at the final site of the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Nov. 28 - Dec. 3 in Decatur, Ala. The Lady Rams defeated UT-Brownsville in Saturday's Opening Round to improve to 18-3-1 on the year. Mobile will face Graceland (10-6-4), who toppled Concordia on penalty kicks after a 0-0 tie, Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 pm.

MT. VERNON, Ga-- The Brewton-Parker College Barons defeated the University of Mobile 77-67 in SSAC men's basketball action Saturday evening. Mobile (2-3, 0-2) hosts Lee University Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 pm. Ji Kimbrough tallied 13 points to lead the team, while Brock Dockery added 12 points, Antonio Hester finished with 10 and Matthew Turner added a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.
