Lady Rams Drop Exhibition Game At Alabama State

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team dropped an exhibition game at Alabama State University 55-72 Saturday afternoon. Mobile (7-6) will return to action Jan. 4 at 5:30 pm when they host Coastal Georgia. Courtney Bayliss led Mobile with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from 3-point range and Deonica McCormick added 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting.

Rams Hold On For Three-Point Home Win

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team held on for a 66-63 win over visiting Tennessee Temple University Thursday evening at Pharr Gym. Mobile (7-5, 1-3) hosts Coastal Georgia Jan. 4 at 7:30 pm. The lone Rams to score in double figures both came off the bench to do so, as Cody Scott led with 12 points and Julien Sargent chipped in 10 points and 6 boards.

Lady Rams Pick Up 73-65 Home Win

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile led the entire game and defeated visiting Tennessee Temple University 73-65 in non-conference action Thursday evening at Pharr Gym. Mobile (7-6) will visit Alabama State University Saturday at 1 pm for an exhibition contest. Deonica McCormick led the Lady Rams with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists, Briana Edwards chipped in 10 points and 7 boards and Leana Tajkov chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds off the bench.

Lady Rams Defeat Birmingham Southern 66-54

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team took down visiting Birmingham Southern College 66-54 Tuesday evening at Pharr Gymnasium. Mobile (6-6) hosts Tennessee Temple Thursday, Dec. 20 at 5:30 pm. Deonica McCormick led Mobile with 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting, while Shontae Dillon added 10 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals, and Shaunette Battle chipped in 10 points off the bench.

Men's Basketball Falls At Montana Tech

BUTTE, Montana-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 57-64 on the road at Montana Tech Sunday evening in non-conference action. Mobile (6-5, 1-3) will host Tennessee Temple Thursday at 7:30 pm. Chris Richardson led a trio of Rams in double figures with 11 points, while Cole Fountain added 10 points and 10 boards and Kwame Beard finished with 10 points, 6 assists and 4 steals.

UMobile 16th In NAIA Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND – The University of Mobile (AL) is 16th in the second set of Learfield Sports Directors' Cup fall standings. Olivet Nazarene (IL) leads after collecting 258.00 total points after finishing second in women’ soccer, third in women’s cross country, ninth in men’s soccer and 22nd overall in men’s cross country.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team cruised past visiting Concordia-Selma 88-68 Saturday evening in non-conference action at Pharr Gym. Mobile (5-4, 1-3) visits Carroll College Dec. 15 at 7 pm. Devondre Peoples led the Rams with 15 points and 6 rebounds off the bench, while Kevin Calloway added 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go along with 6 boards.

Stephen Okai Named NAIA Player of the Year; Dillon and Massiah AA

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile's Stephen Okai was named Select Sport America-NAIA Men's Soccer National Player of the Year, and was joined as an NAIA All-American by Chris Dillon and Gaetan Massiah, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Monday.
