FAIRHOPE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team opened the 2013 spring schedule with a 9th place finish at the FSCC Spring Invitational. The Rams carded a 68-over 644 (324, 320) in the two-round tournament at the Par-72, 6,920-yard Rock Creek course. Brevard CC won the tournament at 34-over 310 (316, 294).

TALLADEGA, Ala-- The University of Mobile softball team opened the 2013 season with a doubleheader sweep at non-conference opponent Talladega College, winning the opener 10-0 and taking the finale 10-1. Mobile (2-0) heads to Decatur, Ala., Feb. 22-24 for the Arctic Blast Tournament. They will open against Point University Feb. 22 at 4 pm.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 47-50 at Auburn-Montgomery Saturday in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (14-13, 7-10) visits Spring Hill Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7 pm to close out the regular season. Both teams shot 42% from the floor, but AUM shot 61% (11-18) from the free throw line, compared to 50% (7-14) for the Rams. Mobile also finished with 21 turnovers.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 52-68 at Auburn-Montgomery in Southern States Athletic Conference Action Saturday. Mobile (14-14, 8-9) visits Spring Hill Saturday, Feb. 23 to cap the regular season. AUM shot a sizzling 56% from the floor in the opening half to build a 42-29 lead.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team blanked visiting Tougaloo College by a 9-0 margin in non-conference action Saturday morning. Mobile (3-0) visits Loyola University March 1 at 1:30 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team swept visiting Tougaloo College 9-0 Saturday in non-conference action. Mobile (3-0) visits Judson College Feb. 21 at 1 pm. The Lady Rams started out with three wins in doubles action, and then rolled from there.

CLEVELAND, Tenn-- The 3rd-ranked Lee University Flames defeated the University of Mobile 12-0 in the series finale Saturday afternoon in Southern States Athletic Conference play. Mobile (5-5, 0-3) visits University of West Florida Wednesday at 5 pm.

CLEVELAND, Tenn-- The University of Mobile baseball team dropped a Southern States Athletic Conference doubleheader at 3rd-ranked Lee University Friday, losing 3-6 in the opener and 1-3 in the finale. Mobile (5-4) and Lee (9-2) finish the series with a single game Saturday.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 57-63 to visiting Belhaven University Thursday evening in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (14-13, 8-8) visits Auburn-Montgomery Saturday at 2 pm. Belhaven out shot Mobile 45% to 35% from the floor, 57% to 15% from 3-point range and 71% to 50% from the free throw line.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 53-67 to visiting Belhaven University Thursday evening in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (14-12, 7-9) visits Auburn-Montgomery Saturday at 4 pm. Belhaven out shot Mobile 47% to 44% from the floor, 50% (7-14) to 17% (3-18) from 3-point range and 92% (12-13) to 50% (4-8) from the charity stripe.
