MARIETTA, Ga-- Despite out shooting the Southern Poly Hornets 47% to 36% from the floor, the UMobile men's basketball team dropped the SSAC game 68-74 Friday evening.

The Rams went 30-of-64 from the floor, compared to 26-of-72 for the Hornets, but Southern Poly held a decisive edge at the free throw line, hitting 15-of-24, compared to a 2-of-9 effort from the Rams.

Ji Kimbrough led Mobile with 18 points and took all nine free throw attempts, while Brock Dockery finished with 14 points and 17 rebounds and Antonio Hester added 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting for Mobile.

Bobby Smith led Southern Poly with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Mobile (2-2, 0-1) will visit Brewton-Parker Saturday at 5 pm.
