MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in a tie for 11th after one round of play at the 10th Annual USA Women's Invitational held at Azalea City Golf Club.
Mobile shot a 44-over 332 in rainy conditions on day one, while South Alabama holds a two stroke lead for the top spot after carding a 16-over 304. Butler is in 2nd with an 18-over 306.
Rival Spring Hill sits in 13th with a +71 359.
Ann Nahl paced the Lady Rams by sitting in a tie for 30th after firing an 8-over 80, and Abbie Harris shot a 9-over 81.
Emily Blount finished round one with a 13-over 85, Alex Moore shot a 14-over 86 and Kylee Schone carded a 20-over 92.
Final round is being played today.
