Pool 1:
9 AM Mobile def. Madonna 1-0: Brittney Kerr out-dueled Hallie Minch to give Mobile a 1-0 win over the Crusaders. Kerr limited the Madonna bats to 3 hits and struck out 4 in the complete-game win. Madonna did not hit the ball out of the infield until the 6th inning. Minch gave up 1 run on 3 hits in 6 innings of work. The lone run came in the 4th, when Hannah Beth Baker hit a leadoff double and later came in to score on a double play groundout.
11 AM Madonna def. Bryan 6-5 (9): Hallie Minch got the win in relief for the Crusaders, going 3 innings and allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk. Arielle Cox finished 2-for-5 at the plate, including the game-winning hit, while Jackie Barley added 3 hits and Erin Mayes went 2-for-4. Kirstie Jennings went 4-for-4 for Bryan, while Katie Vaughn and Rachel Kirby each added a pair of knocks.
1 PM Thomas def. Mobile 4-1: Alexa Fair limited the Lady Rams to 1 unearned run on 5 hits in a complete-game victory. Mobile left 11 runners on, while Brianna Dworak went 3-for-3 for Thomas and Morgan Howard finished 2-for-4. Jessica Rogers went 2-for-4 for Mobile at the plate.
3 PM Shorter def. Central Methodist 2-0: Kristen Little was the winner for the Hawks with 7 shutout innings. She allowed only 4 hits and struck out 9 batters. Maddie Bray had 2 RBI and Jackie Castaneda went 2-for-4.
5 PM Central Methodist def. Thomas 3-2 (9): Aubrey Utley grabbed the win for Central Methodist despite giving up 10 hits. She struck out 4 and gave up only 2 runs. Rebecca Lipsey finished 2-for-2 with a RBI, while Kelsey Johnley drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 9th. Kaley Clark went 2-for-4 at the plate for Thomas.
7 PM Shorter def. Bryan 17-0 (5)

9 AM Morningside def. Walsh 2-1: Jordan Johnson out-dueled Erin Ebert for the 2-1 win. Kati Steffen started the winning rally with a double, and two walks, a passed ball and a single later, Johnson singled home Emily Wassom for the winning run.
11 AM Brenau def. Walsh 3-1: Jenny Shepard struck out 7 to pick up the win for Brenau. Sally Duggan finished 2-for-4 at the dish with 2 RBI, while Katie Bolin went 2-for-4 with 1 RBI. Dana Brown and Kayla Marcus each collected 2 hits for Walsh. Duggan's 2 RBI came in the form of a 2-run homer in the 8th to take the 3-1 lead.
1 PM Freed-Hardeman def. Brenau 8-1: Sarah Couser fanned 11 in 7 innings of 3-hit work to lead Freed past the Tigers. Shelby Cummings, Amber Vansandt and Natalie Nelson each went 2-for-4 at the plate to back Couser.
3 PM AUM def. Morningside 4-3: Cassie Daniels got the win with 6 innings of 3-run ball. She struck out 9. Brandi Richards worked a scoreless 7th for the save. Jyssica Peppers went 2-for-3 with a double and a homer at the plate, scoring 3 runs, while Carol Ann McIntyre had a pinch-hit RBI-double to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the 6th. Alyssa Louison finished 2-for-4 for Morningside, while Kirsten Dargy went 3-for-3.

9 AM Notre Dame def. Bethel 5-1: Ashley Harbarger scattered 4 hits and struck out 5, while walking none to get the win for the Falcons Saturday. Sydney McMillin took the loss after giving 7 hits and walking 3. Candace Shofar finished 2-for-3 and Megan Turner had a double and 2 RBI for Notre Dame. Brooklyn Jenkins doubled and Lindsey Costello had a single and a RBI for Bethel.
11 AM William Carey def. Bethel 10-2 (5): William Carey pounded out 10 runs on 10 hits. Casey Alexander had 3 hits and 4 runs scored, Sarah Beckman went 2-for-2, Hannah Cook-Kelley and Jasmine Shelby each drove in a pair and Anna Lauren Fontenot drove in 3 for the Lady Saders. Shelby Evans drove in a pair of Bethel.
1 PM Faulkner def. Notre Dame 6-2: Missy Duke allowed 0 earned runs on 6 hits in a complete game effort for the Eagles, while Ashley Harbarger took the loss for the Falcons after giving up 4 runs on 2 hits in 5.2 innings of action. Heather Smith finished 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, 3 runs and a homer for Faulkner, while Rachel Reiswig finished 2-for-4. Steph Coleman finished 3-for-4 for Notre Dame.
3 PM William Carey def. William Woods 2-1: William Carey squeaked by William Woods 2-1. Kelsey Jo Smith got the win with 5 innings of 1-run, 4-hit ball and Alyssa Boutwell worked 2 1-hit shutout innings to grab the save. Becca Schemmer took the loss after giving up 2 runs on 7 hits in the complete-game effort. Sarah Beckman and Anna Lauren Fontenot each collected 2 hits for the Crusaders.
5 PM Campbellsville def. Faulkner 3-2 (8): Campbellsville outlasted Faulkner 3-2 in 8 innings Saturday night. Courtney Turpin got the win with 2 innings of shutout, hitless relief, while Mattie Dotson took the loss after giving up 1 earned run on 5 hits in 7 innings of work. Kristin Benton went 2-for-3 for the Tigers, while Heather Smith drove in a pair of the Eagles. Emma Napier singled home Brooke Boils in the bottom of the 8th for the winning run.
7 PM Belhaven def. Campbellsville 4-3: Shelby Watson improved to 4-2 on the season after beating Campbellsville. She scattered 8 hits. Lizzy Hess went 3-for-4 at the plate and Jessica Paris finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for Belhaven. Heather Oakley finished 3-for-3 with 2 RBI for the Tigers.

9 AM Belhaven def. Bryan 10-0: Jessica Paris improved to 4-1 on the season by limiting Bryan to 1 hit and 0 runs. She fanned 3. CeCee Austin finished 3-for-3 with a homer, a double and 4 RBI and Lizzy Hess went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI. Belhaven broke it wide open with a 6-run 6th inning.
11AM Martin Methodist def. Spring Hill 2-1: Katlin White twirled a 2-hit complete game effort, while allowing only 1 run and striking out 8 Badgers. Linsey Dickerson took the loss after giving up 2 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings of work in the circle. Cynthia Takahashi finished with 2 hits and 2 RBI, while Veronika Fukunishi added a hit and RBI.
11 AM Morningside def. Lee 4-3: Emma Remy grabbed the win for the Mustangs, while Courtney Vaughn drove in 1 and Kati Steffen singled home a pair.
1 PM UH-Victoria def. Spring Hill 5-0: Dawn Villegas limited the Badgers to 2 hits, while fanning 4 to grab the win for the Jaguars. Kathryn Ingles took the loss after giving up 12 hits and fanning 3. Brittany Arredondo finished 3-for-4, Kelly King went 2-for-4 and Ashley Winegeart went 2-for-3 with a double to lead UHV. Katelyn Hinson finished 1-for-3 for Spring Hill.
