Crusaders Take Down Rams 6-3

 

MOBILE, Ala-- William Carey University bested the University of Mobile 6-3 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference men's tennis action Thursday.
 
Mobile (3-2, 1-2) hosts GCAC foes Belhaven and Tougaloo Saturday, March 13 at 9 am and 1 pm, respectively.
 
William Carey opened the match by taking No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, and then swept the top four singles spots to pick up the win. Jesus Urmeneta def. Joe Otto 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Saulo Litterio def. Alejandro Ordonez 6-3, 1-0 (Default) at No. 6 singles for the Rams. Gustavo Godoi - J. Urmeneta won 8-5 at No. 2 doubles.
