ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team blanked 15th-ranked UT-Brownsville 2-0 Friday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

Mobile (3-1-1) will battle Embry-Riddle Saturday at 7:30 pm at the sportsplex.

The Rams dominated the tempo from the get-go, finishing with a 25-7 advantage in shots and an 11-2 edge in shots on goal.

The first goal came in the 35th minute when Alvaro Pichardo punched it home off a double assist from Stephen Okai and Naissim Ayadi.

Ayadi then capped the scoring with just 58 ticks left in the opening period, when he received a pass from Gaetan Massiah deep in the 18-yard box and finished.

Elijah Gibson picked up the shutout victory in goal for Mobile, finishing with a pair of saves.
