JACKSON, Miss-- The 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team shut out Southern States Athletic Conference foe Belhaven University 3-0 in road action Saturday evening.

Mobile (12-3-1, 8-1) hosts 5th-ranked William Carey University Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 5 pm.

The Lady Rams out shot Belhaven 18-6 and finished with a 13-4 edge in shots on target.

The first goal of the game came in just the 7th minute when Saskia Adriance found the back of the net off an assist from Christy Lachappelle.

Then, just five minutes later, it was Lachappelle doing the scoring, with an unassisted tally.

The final goal of the game came in the 79th minute, when Katie Compton scored just minutes after subbing in. Kelsie Ruff picked up the assist on the play.

Gillian McMahon picked up four saves in goal for the shutout victory.
