NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile volleyball team picked up a pair of non-conference wins at the Hampton Inn Wolfpack Invitational Saturday. Mobile opened by beating Union University 3-2 (25-27, 25-27, 25-20, 25-18, 16-14) and then beat Arkansas-Monticello 3-1 (22-25, 26-24, 25-21, 27-25) to cap the day.

Mobile (22-9, 7-5) visits Loyola University Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7 pm for a Southern States Athletic Conference contest.

In the opener, Kiara Gay finished with 22 kills to lead the Lady Rams, while Disah Kolassiba and Sara Van Wert each added 5 blocks. Van Wert also paced the team in the serving game, finishing with 4 aces.

Gay again dominated in the final match, putting down 20 kills to go along with 3 blocks, while Jessica Rule had 9 kills and 6 blocks and Van Wert finished with 10 kills and 4 blocks.
