Women's Tennis Moves To 2-0 On Season

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team defeated visiting Loyola University 7-2 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday morning.

Mobile (2-0, 2-0) hosts Tougaloo College Saturday, Feb. 16 at 9 am.

The Lady Rams started the match by taking a 2-1 lead in doubles action with wins from Aggy Rozite/Stephanie Tomita and Treya Smith/Ambria Phillips at the top two slots.

Aside from a three-set victory by Tomita at No. 2 singles and a loss at No. 6 the Lady Rams cruised in the other spots, giving up a total of five games.
