MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished 11th at the 11th Annual USA Women's Invitational Tuesday.
Twelve of the 14 teams competing are NCAA-I teams. The 36 holes took place over two days at the Par-72, 6,071-yard Azalea City Golf Course.
The Lady Rams carded an 88-over 664 (328, 336), while Louisiana Monroe won the tournament at 40-over 616 (310, 306). Spring Hill finished last at 154-over 730 (359, 371). Host South Alabama finished 2nd at 41-over 617 (306, 311).
Haley Mize paced Mobile with an 18-over 162 after carding a pair of 81's to finish 35th. Alex Moore placed 41st with a 20-over 164 (77, 87) to finish 41st and Devin Pigford shot +24 168 (84, 84) to place 53rd. Emily Blount finished at 27-over 171 (87, 84) and Kylee Schone shot a 32-over 176 (86, 90) for the Lady Rams.
Mobile next competes at the Spring Hill Badger Invite March 4-5 at the Spring Hill College Golf Course.
