UM Tennis Teams Win At Tougaloo

 

JACKSON, Miss-- The 23rd-ranked University of Mobile women's tennis team defeated conference foe Tougaloo College 8-1 Friday afternoon.
 
Claudia Borges, Zelie Pfeiffer, Rachel Hartley, Kari Williams and Alana McDaniel won in singles play for Mobile, while Pfeiffer-Hartley, Williams-Emily Jennings and Borges-McDaniel won in doubles action.
 
The Lady Rams (12-3, 7-3) visit Belhaven University Saturday at 9 am.
 
Men Blank Tougaloo College
 
JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team blanked Gulf Coast Athletic Conference foe Tougaloo College 9-0 Friday.
 
Gustavo Godoi, Billy Musgrove, Ryan Ogborn, Clint Key, Preston Smith and Beau Bryars won in singles for the Rams, while Jesus Urmeneta - Godoi, Bryars - Jay Berga and Musgrove-Smith won in doubles action.
 
The Rams (8-3, 5-3) visit Belhaven University Saturday at 9 am.
