Caroline Sagrera struck out nine and allowed only two hits and three walks in the shutout victory. Cara Law was the tough-luck loser, giving up one run on three hits with six k's. Elise deBruler drove in the winning run with a base hit.

Mattie Dotson struck out eight and allowed three runs on five hits in a complete-game effort for the Eagles. Erin Byrd went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Tori Hollis finished with a 2-run home run and three RBI. Marlee Morales finished 3-for-3 with two RBI for Georgia Gwinnett.
