MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team moved to 5-0 on the season with an 8-1 victory over visiting LeTourneau University Monday.

Mobile (5-0, 1-0) hosts Transylvania Wednesday at 2:30 pm.

Fernando Paiva and Karlis Stonis won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Marcio Dal Pont/Santiago Quiros and Lucas Tristao/Guilherme Arcaro won 8-5.

In the No. 1, 4, 5 and 6 singles slots, the Rams did not allow the Yellow Jackets to take more than two games in any set. Stonis pulled out a 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), (10-8) win at No. 3 singles.
