MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team defeated visiting Transylvania 6-3 Wednesday to improve to 7-0 on the season.

Mobile (7-0, 1-0) hosts rival Spring Hill College Friday at 5 pm.

The Lady Rams rolled to wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles, and then Ambria Phillips' 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles clinched the match for Mobile.

Aggy Rozite and Stephanie Tomita teamed up for an 8-2 win and Treya Smith and Phillips rolled to an 8-3 win in doubles.
