HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team sits in 3rd place after one round of play at the Carey Collegiate Classic Monday at the Canebrake Country Club.

The Rams fired a team score of 13-over 297, trailing Spring Hill by 13 strokes and William Carey by one stroke for 2nd.

Viktor Cedersjo leads the Rams and is 3rd overall after carding an opening round 1-under 70. Zach Day is 5th after shooting a +1 72, Chase Blan is 11th at 4-over 75, Josh Ball shot an 80 and Michael Abram carded an 81.

Mobile is 17 strokes ahead of 4th-place Blue Mountain College.

The final round takes place Tuesday.
