HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The 22nd-ranked University of Mobile women's golf team is in 3rd place after one round of play at the Carey Collegiate Classic at Canebrake Country Club.

The Lady Rams shot a +35 319 to sit only seven strokes back of leader William Carey (+28 312) and five strokes back of Lindsey Wilson (+30 314).

Devin Pigford leads the Lady Rams and is tied for 2nd overall after shooting a 5-over 76 and Haley Mize is tied for 4th after carding a +6 77 in the opening 18 holes.

Emily Blount is 10th with an 8-over 79, Alex Moore is 18th at 16-over 87 and Kylee Schone is 19th with a +17 88.

The final round takes place Tuesday.
