Men's Golf Rallies For Win At Carey Collegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team rallied from thirteen strokes back after round one to win the Carey Collegiate Classic Tuesday.
Mobile fired a 12-over 580 (297, 283) to beat Spring Hill, which shot a +16 584 (284, 300). Mobile's second round score of 283 was the best score by 17 strokes and the best score of either round.
Chase Blan carded a final round 68 to lead the charge and finish in a tie with teammate Zach Day for 2nd individually. Blan finished at 1-over 143 (75, 68), while Day finished at +1 143 (72, 71). Blan's final-round 68 was the best score by two strokes that round.
Viktor Cedersjo finished 5th at 4-over 146 (70, 76), Michael Abram finished 13th at 9-over 151 (81, 70) and Josh Ball finished 17th at 12-over 154 (80, 74).
Mobile next competes at the Emmanuel Invitational March 25-26 in Hartwell, Ga.
