Lady Rams Fall 1-8; Rozite Beats 9th-Ranked Player

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team fell 1-8 to 2nd-ranked William Carey University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Wednesday.

Mobile (8-2, 2-1) plays Rust College March 22 in Jackson, Miss., at 4 pm.

William Carey started the match by taking all three doubles matches for a 3-0 lead.

Singles play was highlighted by Aggy Rozite's 6-3, 6-2 win over Carola Orna, who's ranked 9th by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Marianna Velozo put up a battle at No. 6 before falling 5-7, 4-6.
