MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis program announced the signing of Baker High School product Tracy Cullum for the 2011 season.
Cullum played at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles for a Baker team that finished 3rd at Sectionals last season. She will bring a strong desire to succeed to the Lady Rams.
"I don't like losing, so I'm very competitive," Cullum said. "I hope to bring a lot of spirit and wins to Mobile next season and for years to come."
University of Mobile Head Coach Uwe Tittl also feels that Cullum will fit in off the court at Mobile.
"Tracy is going to bring good spirit and character to the team and is very strong academically," Tittl said. "That's always a plus."
Cullum agrees that she is a good fit at the University of Mobile.
"I chose Mobile because it's a great Christian environment and I can be a part of that," Cullum said. "It also has a great nursing program and I get to play tennis close to home."
