MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team took down Faulkner University 75-72 in NAIA non-conference action Tuesday.
Mobile (3-0) returns to action at Life University Monday, Nov. 16 at 7 pm.
The Rams controlled the boards, outrebounding Faulkner 36-23 and out shot the Eagles 56% to 43% from the floor. That helped Mobile overcome 28 turnovers and a 9-of-18 effort from the charity stripe.
McGill-Toolen product Ji Kimbrough led the Rams with 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting, while Matthew Turner and Donte Walker finished with 13 points apiece for Mobile. Robert Golston added 9 points and 11 rebounds.
Randell Moore led Faulkner with 15 points, while Chris Palmore added 14.
