JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team fell to Belhaven College, 2-1 in overtime, in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play Tuesday evening.
Mobile (6-7-1, 1-1) will return to action Tuesday, Oct. 27 at home against Spring Hill College at 7 pm. The Lady Rams will then close out the regular season at home on Oct. 31 against William Carey at 7 pm.
Missy Stovall scored her team-high 14th goal of the season in the 30th minute to give Mobile a 1-0 first-half lead. It was an unassisted goal and her 9th goal in the last five games.
That lead remained intact until Belhaven's Nicole Trawick scored to even things up in the 54th minute. Then, Belhaven's Christin Kaim won the game with an unassisted goal in the 8th minute of the first overtime period.
Anna Maddox had 3 saves in the loss for Mobile. Mobile was out-shot 16-12.
