KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team is receiving votes in the first NAIA Regular Season Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday.
The Lady Rams, unranked in the preseason, received 18 votes in the poll after starting the year 2-1-1. Mobile blanked Warner Southern and Warner Pacific, and fell 2-1 to 7th-ranked Martin Methodist in overtime.
Mobile still has ranked teams Azusa Pacific, Auburn-Montgomery and William Carey on the schedule, along with top NCAA II teams West Florida and Nova Southeastern. They next play Nova Southeastern at home Friday, Sept. 11 at 3 pm.
