MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated visiting Warner Pacific College 2-0 Friday to improve to 2-0-1 on the season. The Lady Rams out-shot the visitors 16-5.

Mobile's defense was stout all game long, led by All-American goal keeper Anna Maddox, who picked up 3 saves for the shutout victory. Meanwhile, the Mobile offense wasted little time in scoring, as Kassie Ruff scored the game-winner just 2:30 into play when she headed home a cross from Christy Lachappelle.
