Rams Fall To No. 9 Point Loma At Nationals

MOBILE, Ala-- Ninth-ranked Point Loma Nazarene University was too much for the Rams too handle at the 2010 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tuesday. The Sea Lions defeated the Rams 6-0 in a match that was called early due to weather.

The Rams end the season with a 10-6 mark, while Point Loma advances to face Oklahoma Christian Wednesday at 1 pm. This was Mobile's 3rd-straight trip to nationals.

Point Loma swept all three doubles matches to go up 3-0 and then took No. 3, 5 and 6 singles to clinch the match. The Sea Lions dropped only one game in those three singles matches.
