RAPID CITY, S.D.-- The third round of the 2010 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships is in the books and the University of Mobile's Maegan Rice sits in a five-way tie for 10th place with one round left to play Friday, May 28.

Rice led after Tuesday's opening round and was tied for 5th entering play today before shooting a 10-over 82. She sits at 17-over 233 (71, 80, 82) for the tournament. Sophie Henke (South Carolina Beaufort), Anna Schopp (Lubbock Christian), Jessica Smith (Lindsey Wilson) and Megan Woodland (Victoria) are also at 17-over through three rounds.

Cal Baptist's Nathalie Silva carded a round-best 3-over 75 Thursday to move from 3rd to 1st at 9-over 225. Oklahoma City's Laura Jones is two strokes back in 2nd place, while four golfers are tied for 3rd and five strokes off the pace.

It was a rough day for most golfers as the co-leaders through two rounds, Anna Schopp and Alyssa Human, shot 12-over and 9-over today.

Rice's round featured one birdie, one eagle, six bogeys, two double-bogeys and one triple bogey. The triple-bogey and the eagle came back-to-back on holes No. 15 and 16.

She opened the round 1-under through three holes after a birdie on the par-4 No. 3, but then went +4 over the next three holes.
