MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's cross country program announced the addition of Allie Wheeler.

"I am thrilled to announce the signing of Allie Wheeler, a remarkable runner with the competitive edge that we are looking for in our program,"  Coach Holly Person said.

Allie is the Daughter of Paula Wheeler. The Nashville, Tenn., native currently lives in Zachary, LA.

Wheeler has been running for 11years and prepped at Bethany Christian in Baker, La..  She ran a 23:22 at the State meet her Senior year.  Her personal best for the 5k was 19:56.

Allie said that she is, "Very much looking forward to and very excited about running for UM."
