KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile's Chris Dillon was named a 2009 Honorable Mention NAIA Men's Soccer All-American Saturday.
The NAIA released a first-team, second-team, third-team and honorable mention selections as selected by the NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Selection Committee.
The Rams finished the season with a 9-11 overall record and 3-2 mark in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. Mobile won the GCAC Tournament Championship and the NAIA Unaffiliated Championship, before falling to Embry-Riddle in a 2009 NAIA National Championship Opening Round contest.
Dillon started in 18 games and played in 19 games for the Rams, finding time to finish with 2 goals and 1 assist from his defensive position. The Rams' defense allowed only 30 goals in 20 games as a team and finished with 4 shutouts.
