MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team finished in 5th place at the 2010 Azalea City Classic at the Gulf Pines Golf Course.

The 5K meet was hosted by the University of South Alabama, who won the event with a team time of 1:37 and 32 points.

Mobile finished with a total time of 2:11:34.32 from their top five runners and had 146 points.

Allie Wheeler continued to pace the Lady Rams with a finish at No. 25 and a time of 23:27.39. She finished 5th among non-NCAA runners, as South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana University and University of West Florida dotted the leaderboard.

Two spots behind Wheeler, was Joanna Canning with a time of 23:52.38. Kristen Jones clocked in at 26:38.73 for a 34th-place finish, Tiffany Tindall finished 37th at 28:34.06, Chynna Lee finished right behind her at 29:01.76 and Shelby Townsend rounded out the UMobile runners with a time of 33:27.85.
