MOBILE, Ala-- The 12th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team shut out Shorter University 1-0 in NAIA action Friday evening.

Mobile (7-1-1) visits Belhaven University Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 7 pm.

The Rams kept the pressure on all game, finishing with a 22-6 edge in shots and 7-2 edge in shots on target. Jason Williams pitched a shutout with a pair of saves for Mobile.

Eoin Dolan scored the game-winner just 8 minutes in when he took the ball from Sam Blackburn and cracked it top shelf from about 40 yards out.

Both of Williams' saves came early in the second half on back-to-back shots from point-blank range. He made diving saves on shots by Sebastian Stihler and Felix Jaekel to keep it 1-0.
