BIRMINGHAM, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished 13th at the Southern Shootout hosted by Birmingham Southern College at Highland Park Golf Course Monday.
The Lady Rams carded a two-round +123 683 (347, 336), while Columbus State won the tournament with a 41-over 601 (296, 305). Shorter University finished 2nd with a 42-over 602 (302, 300).
Taylor Kirby finished tied for 18th individually after firing an 18-over 158 (80, 78) to pace Mobile.
Abbie Harris finished in a tie for 54th after shooting a 30-over 170 (81, 89), Ann Nahl shot a 35-over 175 (91, 84) and Taylor Lee carded a 40-over 180 (95, 85) for the Lady Rams.
Columbus State's Nikki Crowley was the top individual golfer with an even-par 140 (68, 72) and Shorter's Greta Lange finished 2nd with a 1-over 141 (70, 71).
Mobile will host the University of Mobile Fall Invitational Oct. 24-26.
