MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team won the 2010 University of Mobile Fall Invitational at Heron Lakes Golf Course, while Abbie Harris took home top individual honors.
The Lady Rams won the tournament with a +90 666 (334, 332), finishing a comfortable nine strokes ahead of 2nd-place Thomas University, who shot a 99-over 675 (336, 339).
Huntingdon College finished 3rd with a +132 708 (361, 347) and William Carey finished 4th at +191 767 (391, 376).
Harris, meanwhile, fired a 16-over 160 (80, 80) to win the two-day, two-round event. Harris edged out Thomas University's Jessica Macphee (+17, 161- 77, 84) by one stroke.
Mobile's Ann Nahl climbed to No. 3 on the final day after carding the best final-round score of 79 to finish at +18 162 (83, 79).
Taylor Kirby finished 5th with a 24-over 168 (82, 86), Taylor Lee placed 10th at 32-over 176 (89, 87) and Mandy Eads shot a 43-over 187 (99, 88) to finish at No. 16.
Huntingdon's Saem Hur rounded out the top-5 with a 4th-place finish after shooting 23-over 167 (86, 81).
