MOBILE, Ala-- The 11th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team had several players honored by the release of the 2010 SSAC All-Conference Team.
Sophomore Christy Lachappelle was named the SSAC West Division Offensive Player of the Year, and was joined on the All-Conference Team by teammates Anna Maddox and Missy Stovall.
Olivia Maddox was named to the SSAC West All-Division Team and Rebekah Counce was named to the SSAC All-Freshman Team.
Lachappelle led the Lady Rams with 26 points after recording 10 goals and 6 assists, while starting all 19 games. Missy Stovall finished second on the team with 21 points after recording 9 goals and 3 assists, including 4 game-winners.
Anna Maddox started 18 games in the defensive backfield, while Counce started 19 games for a Mobile defense that has allowed only 19 goals in 19 games played. Olivia Maddox played in 18 games for the Lady Rams, who are 12-6-1 and finished as runner-up in the SSAC to 2nd-ranked Lee University.
Mobile will host Embry-Riddle Saturday, Nov. 20 in a 2010 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round game.
