MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team closed out the 2010 regular season by falling 76-74 at Spring Hill College Saturday evening.

 

Mobile (17-10, 10-8) locks down the No. 5 seed for the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament that begins March 2nd. The Rams will travel to either William Carey or Belhaven Thursday at a time to be determined.

 

Ji Kimbrough led the Rams with 20 points, going 8-of-21 from the floor, while Donte Walker added 13 points and Ben Healey finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds off the bench.

 

Marcus Coleman sparked the Badgers with 21 points, hitting 5-of-13 from 3-point range, while Patrick Grant added 15 points and Nick Brown finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds.

 

Spring Hill out shot Mobile 51% to 45% from the field, while the teams were pretty even on free throws, rebounds and turnovers.
