LAKE WALES, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 4th place at the Start 2 Finish Webber Classic to open the 2011 spring season.

The Lady Rams fired a collective +115 691 (341, 350) during the two-round event at the Par-72, 5,833 yard Lake Wales CC.

Florida Southern won the tournament with a 67-over 643 (318, 325) and Centre College finished 2nd with an 80-over 656 (335, 321).

Taylor Kirby paced Mobile by finishing 9th individually with a 20-over 164 (82, 82). Florida Southern's Marianne Andersson won the tournament with a 2-over 146 (72, 74).

Abbie Harris and Ann Nahl each tied for 22nd with a pair of 31-over 175's (86, 89). Taylor Lee finished 25th with a 34-over 178 (87, 91) and Mandy Eads shot a 42-over 186 (96, 90).

Mobile will next compete Feb. 28-Mar. 1 at the Spring Hill College Badger Invite.
