No. 4 AUM Takes Down Mobile Women At SSAC Tourney

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The 4th-ranked Auburn University-Montgomery women's tennis team defeated the University of Mobile 7-2 at the 2011 SSAC Tournament Friday.

The Lady Senators dominated play from the start, with Mobile picking up default victories at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Auburn-Montgomery swept No. 1 and 2 doubles by 8-0 scores and allowed Mobile to take only two games in singles action.

Mobile (7-8) is in the running to receive the host bid to the 2011 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship May 17-21 at the Mobile Tennis Center.
