MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished 2nd place by only two strokes at the 2010 Spring Hill Badger Invite at the Spring Hill Golf Club Tuesday.

 

Mobile tallied a 43-over 619 (309, 310) while the Badgers shot a +41 617 (313, 304). The Rams trailed Lindenwood by only one stroke after the opening round, but the Badgers made the jump from 3rd to 1st by carding a final-round 304.

 

Mobile's Cameron Smith finished 2nd overall, missing 1st place by only one stroke after shooting 7-over 151 (74, 77). Faulkner's Erik Hilde finished 1st at 6-over 150 (78, 72).

 

Mobile's Leland Dunning finished 10-over 154 (76, 78) to tie for 6th, Alejandro Salcedo tied for 9th at 11-over 155 (75, 80) and Joey Moberly finished at 15-over 159 (78, 81). Tyson Lynn shot 16-over 160 (84, 76), Jacob Morgan shot 19-over 163 (81, 82) and Chris Collier shot 23-over 167 (88, 79).
