MOBILE, Ala-- The 9th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team blasted visiting conference foe Brewton-Parker 11-0 Saturday.
The Lady Rams (10-2-1, 6-1) jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the opening half, including a pair of goals in the first 5:17.
Kassie Ruff, Brianna Simmons and Christy Lachappelle each tallied a pair of goals for Mobile, while Melissa Maddox finished with one goal and two assists and Alyssa Fuller added one goal and one assist off the bench.
Ruff opened the scoring with a tally just 1:43 into play and Simmons scored at the 5:17 mark to set the tone for the contest.
Jesslyn Fagundes added a goal in the 12th minute, Bethan Morgans scored in the 37th minute and Brianna Heiss scored for Mobile in the 59th minute.
Mobile out shot the Barons 34-3 in the game and put 19 shots on frame, while Brewton-Parker put only two shots on target.
Lorna Brownlie and Gillian McMahon each saw action in goal for Mobile and made one save apiece.
The Lady Rams host Belhaven Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 5 pm.
